We’re Kitty and Nat—partners in life and now in food. After 25 years navigating the corporate world, 2020 gave us the unexpected chance to stop, reassess, and finally chase a long-held dream: to create a food destination that reflects everything we love about cooking, community, and country living.

Call it bold or just a bit crazy—but we left it all behind and opened the doors to Milk Haus, our wholefood eatery nestled in the lush hills of Milton. And we haven’t looked back since.

Originally founded in 2014 by Danielle as a wholefoods canteen, Milk Haus was built on passion and purpose. In 2020, we proudly stepped in to write its next chapter—one grounded in honest, seasonal food, grown and cooked with intention.

Our restaurant is rooted in the belief that good food starts with good produce. We let the seasons lead the way—harvesting straight from our kitchen garden, preserving what we can, and sourcing from local growers who share our values. Every dish is made from scratch, led by flavour, and crafted with care. It’s unfussy, wholesome, and deeply satisfying—food that feels good in every sense.

But Milk Haus is more than just a place to eat—it’s a space to slow down, reconnect, and be inspired. Our curated retail barn celebrates thoughtful, handcrafted design, featuring pieces from local makers like Motion Ceramics and the stunning floral work of FRED Made. It’s a place where food, art, and creativity come together.

Our on-site Farm Haus accommodation offers a deeper connection to this land and lifestyle. Guests can wake to the sound of birdsong, sip wine by the firepit, wander through the veggie patch, or simply soak in the rhythm of the day. It’s a taste of life here—real, grounded, and nourishing in every way.
